Here's an idea. How about stopping all aid to the government until Mugabe steps down to face trial?

Unfortunately for the long suffering people of Zimbabwe foreign donors are going to remain very wary about giving any aid to the country while there is still the risk of it being siphoned off by Mugabe and his hangers on. Even if Mugabe dies his power structure remains in place and all the leeches will still be there with their hands out. It will take an intensive house cleaning to provide any confidence to possible aid donors to start contributing again.
