Guardian:
The Guardian is to increase its cover price to £1.
From Monday 7 September the Guardian, part of the group that publishes MediaGuardian.co.uk, will increase its weekday price by 10p.

i love this paper, love it.
Simply the best newspaper and website news in the world for me , the finest journalist willing to go deep into finding the truth , I have no problem paying for paying this increase . The Guardian website in the USA makes more money than the newspaper does . Very smart and they are independent no interference from corporations .
Still worth every penny. I started reading the gaurdian twenty four years ago and return to it every time for it's diversity of opinion and news reporting.

I've never seen a paper commit suicide quite so efficiently.
No way is it committing suicide. It's the only decent paper in the entire UK and well worth paying £1 for.
Yes the only paper ...The Guardian is quality journalism that I am willing to pay even more if needed . I am not at all a fan of the ranting on the blogs by amateurs claiming to be journalist and cloak them selfs behind usernames .
