What's Your Reaction?

If Woody Allen was born in the 80s, is there any doubt that he'd be a Hipster Brooklynite? Of course the thick-rimmed glasses and tight pants would remain the same, but he'd be doing comedy at Big Terrific every week, playing bocce at Union Hall, and eating at the upcoming Boro Park location of Guss' Pickles.

This clever Brooklyn-ized parody of Woody's Manhattan shows why the director may have been focusing on the wrong borough for all those years.

"If Woody Allen was born in the 80s, is there any doubt that he'd be a Hipster Brooklynite?"

Yes.

He wouldnt be cool enough for many of the Hipsters, and would be sent packing to the West Village where he would be partying at Plunge or somewhere similar in his own understated, semi nerdy way.

Yes. In fact, without a doubt, he wouldn't be a "Hipster Brooklynite" since his art involved deeper subjects than merely being "ironic" based on the choices of consumption one makes.

Yeah, as the Brooklyners pour back into cheap rents in Manhattan, having driven out the poor folk from Brooklyn's accessible areas, and campaigning against the opportunities for Brooklyn to have its pride - The Nets - and its few remaining jobs - pouring beer for The Nets - back. Great. Go Hipster.
