I think it was Toshiba who came out with 3d lcd tv a few years back. You could even adjust the settings where one person could watch one channel from a right angle to the set, and another person could watch another channel from angle to the set. So it did 3 amazing things. Problem is it never did the 4th amazing things by being produced at a price people could afford.

As America loses its manufacturing, we lose our technology to manufactruring countries. As we lose our technology we lose our military advantage. As we lose our military advantage, we lose our security. All this loss is the direct result of individual and group greed and selfishness. We no longer deserve or possess a democracy. We are a country weakening and splitting with the failure of leadership. Our rendezvous is with the devil rather than destiny. We are a nation of strangers to duty to our country under the Constitution.

I saw this at NAB, (broadcast show) It was not that impressive. Just give me 3D sound to go with the HD images. That IS a sensory experience. Marketing a so-so concept like this serves to re-coup R & D more than an real benefit to the theater experience.

Got the same thing, myself, from Daily Mail in England when I closed the site. Called McAfee and was told it would cost $90.00 for them to get rid of it. I spent an hour going thru the registry and finally found it and removed it. A lot of people got it on Aug. 30. Don't know if there's a fix yet.

Happened to me too, can't really pinpoint where, but malwarebytes is free and took care of it. Slipped right through the virus scanners (not a typo) I have.

You can play it in 7-D with fireworks for all I care, but unless the CONTENT is improved, what is the point?

If a show is good, it is almost as good in standard definition as in high definition - your imagination takes over and you don't notice the definition. Proof of that can be seen when reading a good book which you almost can't put down - no special effects there, just the theater of the mind.

If a show is awful, watching it in the highest of definitions doesn't really help.

High Def is wonderful in itself, and certainly improves sports shows, but it is not the reason that television is losing its audience.
