Mark Sanford: God Is On My Side

Embattled South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford acknowledged Tuesday that he has been shaken by the failure of a single fellow Republican to back him in his fight to save his job, but vowed to fight on for conservative causes and for "what God wanted me to do with my life."

The governor, trying to survive a scandal involving a widely publicized extramarital affair, also compared a new ethics probe over his travel and personal expenses to what he called the baseless complaints brought against former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Every single one of the C(ircle jerks) Street All Boys Club and their admirers, like Sanford, seems to be high on some fumes emanating from the Municipal Sewage system. This is their "God"? Some fantasy where they believe it is their destiny to lead the people of this country to a new destiny? And in the meantime, they seem to believe that they alone do not have to abide by the country's laws or the commandments of the religion they purport to the be "best and brightest of?"

Sanford has obviously gone off the tracks. The only reason he is holding on is because he is trying to negotiate his pension rights and a license to drive a taxi in Charleston.

The god of what exactly? Lying, cheating, dallying, stealing, judging? He has 5 little boys - I hope they don't pay attention to their dad's behaviour. Sanford's god might be behind him getting ready to give him a good swift kick in the butt!

I am SO frikkin' tired of these hypocritical @-h0le$ getting caught with some body part or another in the cookie jar & then sanctimoniously opining how they need to keep their job because "it's what God wants me to do". Like any of these smacktards has any real idea just wtf God wants from them.

And these are the same hypocritical bible-thumpers who keep trying to ram their "family values" down everyone's throat, all the while trying to convince everyone that they know what's best for America.

You see, this is what ticks me off!
People like Sanford claim to be this or that, pure of heart, virtuous, etc.
They don't see their own hypocrisy, only others.
It is sickening the excuses they continually make for themselves while holding everyone else to a higher "moral" standard.
These people believe that they speak directly with G.o.d., so any wrong doing is okay because G.o.d. knows that deep down that they are good.
Well I've got news for you Sanford...
That's not G.o.d. telling you that you are good no matter what terrible things you do to yourself or those around you.
That's your own twisted little brain making excuses for your lack of discipline, heart, and empathy for those around you, so that you can do whatever the heck you darn well please.
Get off of your moral high horse hypocrite!

According to "The Family", Goopers can do no wrong, because God is a far right conservative.

But that's also the same God who believes H.itl.er, Pol Pot, and Osama Bin Laden are his "Chosen"... so I kind of have misgivings of which God it is conservatives are praying to.
