Enough with the propaganda Canada. Under Harper ( Bush acolyte) more and more Canadians die not knowing what their mission is.
Two years ago 60 Canadians had died since 2002 when Canada invaded Afghanistan. Today the number has doubled, along with thousands of injuries.
Maybe these crack military opportunists will do the dead soldiers some justice by carrying out mock funerals with gravestones to show the ludicrous price of lives this war has cost.
There is more here then what we are being told.
And there is nothing about this on the government of canada's web sitte either.

Amen to the above comment. Canadians are not well-represented by our neo-con Prime Minister. Hopefully we will be having an election soon. The Liberals have finally decided to stop propping up the Conservatives and it won't be long now before we are rid of the worst Prime Minister Canada has ever seen.

I usually think of Canadians as fairly even-tempered, logical people, not give to wild flights of fancy.

We are logical and even tempered. We know most Americans don't realize we have been in Afghanistan but the people that don't are the same ones that call us socialists and exporting the 9/11 bombers.
They are targeting the wrong audience. Now if they took this to a civil war field perhaps some people would clue in.
I think most Canadians would think this is dumb, I know I do.
It's sad that our soldiers are dying in Afghanistan and the US needs to be reminded of that because right wing media has made it seem like we are not there. Why should the Cdn armed forces bother? Just get our men and woman back home as their sacrifice isn't appreciated anyway.
I agree that most Americans probably don't realize how many Canadians have been killed and wounded in Afghanistan. I wish my country wasn't there and wasn't dragging your people into this mess.
PS of course we watch American TV, have you ever seen Canadian TV. The only thing decent is the news.
