Naomi Wolf To Write History Of The Vagina

The New York Observer:

Naomi Wolf is going back to her roots. The journalist and author, who has seemingly been on a break for the past couple of years from writing books on the kinds of feminist themes that made her famous in the early 1990s, has signed on with the Ecco Press for a project tentatively titled A Cultural History of the Vagina.

Here's the famous supposed trick for dealing with that one, Lucky123 : Go through the list of the respective batting averages of the starting linup of your favorite Major League baseball team, in your head, at the same time as you're "reading the book". [A word of caution, though : You'd best be EXTREMELY careful, in performing this particular maneuver, IF your favorite baseball team happens to be, say, the 2009 New York Mets ! You'd CERTAINLY want to be QUITE careful in dredging up a lot of THOSE GUYS' current batting averages, in light of fact that if you were to find yourself breaking out in uproarious laughter, right in the middle of doing that, at the "difficult to argue with" general WOEFULLNESS of that team's current athletic season : )], then it stands to reason that "the book", that you were also attempting to "relate to" at the time, might well find your spontaneous laughter to be totally inexplicable, in that circumstance, and absolutely baffling to her ["the book"], and the book then may well end up thereby being "quite understandably offended" by the entire incident. : )
