I have a very dangerous pregnancy craving. Gasoline. No joke.

Gasoline has never been a bad smell, IMO but while pregnant, the smell becomes almost irresistible. Other toxic fumes like nail polish and spray paint become very attractive as well. I've never ingested anything, thank goodness. :-D I've always been baffled by that. These things provide no nutrition whatsoever and they are poisonous. I can understand wanting laundry starch, clay and dirt for the minerals but nail polish? There must be something scientific about that. Any ideas?

The pickles, lime, chilis, olives, orange soda, pepproncitis (whatever that is) and mustard all seem to have a similar, tart, briney taste. That seems to be a common thread in these cravings.
