Pamela Anderson's Banned PETA Stripping Ad (VIDEO) (NSFW)

PETA is known for its outrageous videos and shocking ads, and they've recently released a new airport security-themed video with Pamela Andersen that has some squirming. The New York Post reports that the CNN Airport Network has refused to run the ad as planned at three New York-area airports, citing concerns that children would see it. PETA's next move is to get the spot added to in-fight entertainment.

PETA kills more animals then it saves, they are hypocrites.
They know nothing about helping animals, they focus on stupid things that don't matter.
They are all about shock and awe and not really out to help any thing or any one.
I can not stand PETA, they are just this side of terrorists and should be arrested and jailed for some of the things they have done.
There are plenty of organizations that actually do good things ASPCA, RSPCA, and so on.

First ad, too long, too much Pamela, too risque for airport or tv audience. Second ad, very effective.

The first one did nothing for me beside make me wonder when Pam Anderson is going to quit trying to be 25. She's looking pretty haggard. The second one actually makes an impact. It has an actual message that is clear and concise. Too bad I despise PETA and everything they stand for. Where's my mink?

PETA has made some provocative commercials. They evoke many powerful emotions in viewers.

The Pamela Anderson video was suggestive enough that it wouldn't be G-rated, I rated, I guess.

The animation video was simply brilliant.

In the past, and today in subsistence cultures, meat eating was a natural part of life. What passes for meat these days in the industrialized world isn't fit to eat. The fish are all contaminated with industrial by-products and toxins, and dairy likewise.

Purely from a health perspective, one should avoid meat. From an environmental perspective, the waste from factory farming is ruining water supplies, and killing marine life. The gases the animal emit harm the air, and the lives the poor animals lead are far, far beyond your most horrible nightmare.

If I was starving and there was only me and a little animal left, I guess I would eat it. Otherwise, I will stick to a plant based diet.

the second ad is more effective. But regardless, there are those (example: Michael Vick) that just see animals as things to be used, nothing more. Ads will not change their minds, no matter how well crafted.

PETA doesn't know how to do anything but preach to their own choir. Reaching the rest of the population is so much more important, but they're always too busy alienating people by trying to be shocking and clever and cool. It's this embarrassing high school mentality that prevents them from doing the most good.
