I hope the series is serious and thought provoking, not another, "What if a big asteroid slammed into the earth?" or "Did Nostradamus predict our climate change?" or "What would earth be like without humans?"

NPR and PBS have done and are doing wonderfully good science programs. I think commercial TV may be less thorough and thought provoking.
