I kept wondering why they didn't use her more. She was the only sister in the Lawrence Welk sketch that caught my eye (except for the obvious one). She's cute as anything, and the camera likes her. My TV liked her. I guess they can't keep her on TV because I like looking at her. Still, stupid Lorne Michaels ( and she's not fat).

SNL isn't funny, hasn't been for years
People have been saying that since 1975, and except for 1980 to 1984 and the Adam Sandler years, they were usually wrong. The current cast is very funny, including Michaela Watkins. I'm sorry she's leaving.

I like her, too. Kristin Wigg is dead-on imitating celebritites but each one of her 'characters' are more annoying than the one before.
She was fired because she wasn't funny. No personality whatsoever thru those scripted lines.
SNL should replace ALL of the actors every year. Maybe I would watch it again. This craaap costs millions to produce? Wow.

She didn't develop funny characters and was not funny at all. It always felt like she thought she was so funny and the audience is crazy for not laughing. The other one they fired was funny in some things but nowhere near as funny as Poehler , Shannon or Radner. They also need to fire some of the men on that show.
SNL is funnier now then it has been in years. I was happy to see a normal sized woman on the show but she just wasn't funny. Maya Rudolph (who I miss dearly), Amy Poehler, Tina Faye, Kristen Wigg were all very funny. Casey just didn't make the cut and I have no idea who the other woman is mentioned in the article.
Eating disorders are the expected norm in the good-old-boys SNL environment, IMHO.
(for women, that is) -- starting with Gilda Radner and Lorraine Newman.

She did a good job on snl. Wilson is pretty and not fat. Not every woman on tv should be a size 0-2. Really very few women who wear such tiny sizes are at a healthy weight for their height and natural body types.
