New York Times:

Representative Jerrold L. Nadler, a Manhattan Democrat whose district includes ground zero, introduced a bill on Thursday that would require the United States Mint to create an official 9/11 commemorative coin. The $1 coin would be minted in 2011 to mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks, and support the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.

This will make it the the first time the numbers 9 and 11 have appeared on a coin to commemorate this tragic event.

Oh wait. There is that faux 20 with 9/11 ... because 9 + 11 = 20 ... that gets shilled late night.
