Criag Ferguson is ruining my sleep patterns! HE is the talent that should be on at 10:00, he is marvelous.
Exactly!
I've never been much of a fan of Letterman, but I am a big fan of Leno and Conan. When Conan was on Late Night, I prefered him to Ferguson. I watched the first two episodes of the Late Late Show, and wasn't that impressed. When Fallon took over Late Night, I switched over to Ferguson and am absolutely hooked. I might even go as far to say that he is my favorite late night host. Conan doesn't seem to have the same humor that he did at Late Night. I haven't seen Leno in a while, but I hope he's as funny as he was on the Tonight Show. But I agree, give Ferguson 20 more years if they're going to give him any.
I'll take Dave and Craig over Jay and Conan any day.
But...but...but...
...you forgot Jimmy Fallon.
I can only DREAM of being that lucky & driving his existence out of my mind!!
I hope he gets a great deal. His show is funnier than any of the other late nights. I do still like Dave, but Craig is funnier.
Give this brilliant guy whatever he wants! Ferguson is THE very best television has to offer...hands down. I'm addicted!
Craig Ferguson is a skilled comedian. I am not sure is he is the funniest, but his own brand of comedy is excellent. David Letterman is very successful in his personal niche of comedy. Every successful comedian has their unique delivery.
Give him a five year contract. Glasgow's loss is our gain.
He is getting a two year deal because Letterman's contract expires in two years. It looks like Letterman is getting ready to retire, and promote Ferguson to The Late Show.
I've not watched an entire show, but from what I've seen in many clips he is a funny guy. Good luck to him.
(And the accent is endearing)
