While serious Fashion's Night Out shoppers flocked to Bloomie's and Barneys uptown, fun-loving fashionistas held their own parties in smaller boutiques downtown. From Oak and Bellhaus to Opening Ceremony and Topshop, people were dressed to impress. Here's a roundup of our favorite looks we caught on the sidewalk or in the stores.

I would not wear any of the outfits, nor would my daughter. There may be some individual pieces that are okay, but these are just terrible. Even the outfits on the men are below average.

Like the emperor, your fashionistas have no clothes.

Why does fashion always equal ugly? Also, I hate it when they call them "pieces."

"I like to invest in a few quality pieces."

These people call themselves fashionable?? What the heck??? If being fashionable means you have to look like a homeless person or going out in pajamas, then I'd rather not be a fashionable or a trendy person.

Yah, I agree with most everyone here, am I high or is it just them? They're going to turn the word "fashion" into a negative word soon, I can feel it. Kind of like "Hey Joe, I saw your old girlfriend last night"... "Oh yah, what'd she have to say?" ... "Oh, not much, we only said hello, but boy was she 'fashioned' out! She looked horrible!" .... "Figures."
What in the hot happy horse f**k is wrong with everyone anymore? Is it really sheik to put on mismatched clothes that don't fit properly and are obviously not comfortable and walk around in a large city that you can't even afford to live in? I don't get it. Leave me with my 1950's button-up shirts, blue jeans and my favorite wing tips and I'm just fine. Maybe I'll take a cane with me next time, put in a monocle and put on a top hat.......I'll be nutty, like these people.
