This is why our society is so screwed up and will continue to be so until the MSM stops elevating these kinds of people as role model. Clarkson's sister inspires her because she has two children under the age of 8. Give me a break. She must walk around with blinders. I can think of dozens of women, Michelle Obama (talking about putting it all on the line), the woman screamed down at one of those health care town meetings, Vicki Kennedy, the woman on HuffPost who monthly distributes clothes to newborns and the list goes. Women who take the time to do something for others. Our daughters are in such bad shape because we allow the MSM to set the agenda on relevance in our society. Compassion, giving, forgiveness, hard work-characteristics that make us human are tossed out the window.

Perhaps I've entered my own bizarro world...because I've ceased getting it...articles like this..try as I might...outside the realm of my apparently peabrain comprehension. If anyone asked me about inspiring women...first...I'd not limit anything to women.. but I'd say...the nameless women (mostly) and men I saw during Chemo...
then...Sotomayer...Michelle Obama, the woman in the wheelchair who got shouted down at one of those health care meetings, Rachel Maddow (total straight woman crush)...maybe even Angelina Jolie for her work with the United Nations... but the fashion thing..the box office thing... I live in a netherworld...where respect is earned..not worn..

You have plenty of company in that netherworld...articles like these are just public relations for these people. As if the most important folks were celebrities; they're not.

I'm with you.

Ridiculously silly article.

Picture of SJP? I am so not inspired.
