David Axelrod had a simple message on Sunday for the protesters who descended on Washington this weekend to fight health care reform: You're wrong.
"My message to them is, they're wrong," the senior White House adviser said on CBS' "Face The Nation." "The president made it very very clear that he wants to build on the system we have."
Axelrod also urged observers not to read too much into the Tea Party movement, saying that polls show that the activists "don't represent a mainstream view of this health care plan."
"I don't think it's indicative of the nation's mood," he told host Bob Schieffer.
