Boulder native Bart Miller took a seven-week sabbatical this summer from his work as a lawyer for a nonprofit group to summit 53 of Colorado's 14ers.
To add to the challenge, the 43-year-old rode a mountain bike to the trailheads of each peak, logging between 1,500 and 1,800 miles. He ended the expedition Sunday by hiking to the top of 14,255-foot Longs Peak, which was blanketed with three inches of snow.
