Marc Jacobs Gushes About His "Perfect" Marriage

Marc Jacobs married ad executive Lorenzo Martone this summer in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and in an interview with Elle.com, the celebrated designer makes it clear that he's over the moon.

"I am so grateful and happy to share my life and for him to share his life with me, and we do really get on so well, and we do care about each other so much," gushes Jacobs, his glee as frank and guileless as any intended's. "I don't know...it seems like a really incredible relationship, so perfect. And so balanced."

His friend and muse, artist Rachel Feinstein, concurs:

"He is so in love with Lorenzo. It's such a unique, strong relationship that obviously looks like it's going to be a forever one."

Jacobs also spoke to Elle.com about his design inspirations and reveals his latest muse: a fictional character named "Lola."

Why do gay men gravitate toward looking identical to their partners? From hair style to clothing style, to grooming habits. Is it vanity?

Oh My God, because they both have beards and have good styling and grooming habits? I know plenty of fat straight people who are married to other fat straight people and they don't have good grooming habits or style. Is that some kind of gravitational pull?

So, what you're saying is all ppl tend to mirror their partners? Not just gay men, but straight ppl too? Perhaps. Though it's obvious that two men could look more like each other than your average straight couple could.

We've all heard the one about ppl and their dogs looking alike, maybe there is some truth to this...
