neither he nor the meters can tell time.
Daley and his corrupt tribe need to go
...live with it for 80-years.
They will only fix it if it's profitable.
Run this free market "dempublican"
out of office before he sells our lake.
Welcome to the club, Dick. Let me give you some political advice. I don't know where you are getting yours these days, but it's been kind of rough. Next time you make a controversial decision of this nature, go down to Hyde Park, and ask real people what they think. You will find out that as soon as this deal was announced, the people were angry, and knew this would be a disaster. Hint: I know a guy, his name is Tom, he hangs out at Chant on 53rd Street. Lawyer, good guy. He can help you out.

Image the disaster that will be the day after the Olympics ends.... and we find out how many financial time bombs were left in order for Daley's to bring us this monument to himself.... I'm sure the games will go off fine, (except for maybe a few bicyclist getting booted...)... but Chicago will be left so in the red we'll be borrowing money from Gary, In.
The only answer to our current problem is for people to vote in the primary....
A republican is not going to be mayor of chicago so we need someone to step up and challenge him in the Democratic primary.
I'm sure that person will be continually booted, not have his garbage collected and possibly strung up with piano wire, but it must be done.
This guy has got to go. His autocratic nonsense borders on Stalinism.
It's called corporatization, not privatization, words/terms/ideas matter.
Private concerns are precieved as respectable.
Handing our government and commons over to buisness
is not respectable. (...at least not in what is supposed to be a democracy)
The monster frank luntz has made a stack of blood-money corupting the debate
Someone else is to blame. Now Daley is angry. Great act. But we've seen it before.
Why is Shortshanks mad? This is HIS deal! Anyway, when was the last time Daley fed a meter for his taxpayer funded limo?
And Daley's nephew works for Morgan Stanley, the bank that financed this deal. That would be William Daley III
Daley has never put a dime into a City of Chicago parking meter. It's up to the voters to end his free ride.
Absolutely, pass the buck once again Richard. The answer for Mayor Daley to every Chicago problem has been raise property taxes, oh and just in case you have raised taxes recently, why don't we just lease the city property to some unscrupulous business, and instead of having our property taxes raised, let the business charge the citizens an arm and a leg to use the city property.
Time to dismantle this Chicago Machine... fire these limited Aldermen and find people who are not intellectually, emotionally, and financially beholden to the Mayor.
Let's try cutting unnecessary services, and stop raising my property taxes for every hair brained scheme city officials can come up with.
