Besides that, I'm not about to give away the party of Roosevelt to a bunch of butt-boys like Baucus. From now on I'm spending my time and money on supporting primary challenges to Democratic incumbents who've sold out. It's where they are most vulnerable, where the bribes they've taken are least effective. Even losing efforts can succeed by forcing the incumbent to support progressive policies. They'll always be whores, but they can be our whores.

You have to feel sorry for the people in Iraq and Afghanistan if America is intent on installing the American brand of Capitalistic Democracy in their countries. It's a good job most of the people in these two countries don't have the means of watching American politics in action or they would really be rising up against having this system installed in their countries.
