The number of posts on this topic illustrates the fear ordinary Americans have in 'really' talking about religion. People in America should be afraid, really afraid. Civil war in America would not be pretty, or easy. They miscalculated the consequences in Iraq. They thought they would be greeted with flowers. They were wrong then. They are wrong now.

Can we afford to wait and become casualties in our own country? How many Iraqis became refugees due to the misjudgment of the past administration. Will this administration underestimate the consequences of letting this fester into an out of control war on American soil.

Right now they are using words. What happens when they think it's okay to use guns? They are openly showing their guns at Town Hall Meetings, where is the line? When will our government consider the line crossed? After people die? Then it's too late!

I support the Second Amendment, but I don't support using the Second Amendment to 'take back their (our) country from us. 'We The People' spoke in November, it's our country too. Every four years, 'We The People' can take back our country. We do it with votes in America, not bullets and weapons. The Second Amendment is being prostituted for the few radicals who are inciting violence and radical behavior, using religion and God as the means to justify their actions. Sad, sad, sad!

Blackwater, from the git go, has had an "Us against Them" *Crusader* mentality to their mission(s). ["Us" being x-ians; "Them" being all nonx-ians.­..particul­arily those of the Islamic faith.] Blackwater's eagerness to 'warrior' was one of the reasons they were so highly favored by fellow-evangelical, GWB.

There are many "faith based organizations" [read: x-ian - exclusively] overseas (paid by US tax-payer's money via USAID!) who are in 'those' countries **specifically** because they *are* faith-based.

It was GWB who decided that [US] faith-based organization's [religious] teachings and [religious] ideas should be 'exported' to 'those' countries. Unfortunately, the cries from 'those' countries that the US was on a Crusade, were (and are) scoffed at...when all along, 'our' actions were --and are-- proving that what 'they' were saying, was absolutely true.

No wonder 'they' were able to recruit so many against the US efforts. Wouldn't any sane person do likewise to protect their fundamental [religious] beliefs against anyone who was bound and determined to wipe the last vestiges of those beliefs from the face of the earth?

All I could think of was that freaky congregation Sarah Palin worships with their camps training their youth to prepare for armageddon, and her presiding last June over their "graduation" ceremony.
