Michelle Obama At Hispanic Caucus Gala: Stunning In Sequins (PHOTOS)

The president and first lady stopped by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's Awards Gala on Wednesday night in Washington. Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who tore up the dance floor Tuesday night at "Noche Musical," was in the audience. So were Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony.

The first lady did not disappoint in a black sequin cocktail dress, dangly earrings, her inauguration bangles, black high heels, and her hair in an updo.

She is getting it together more and more as the weeks go on. Either she's gettin some help, reading the comments or just letting her inner confidence shine--She is stunning outside and inside. How can you not love this woman? She has a seventy five percent approval rate with women She has the ' it' factor and those that have something boorish or negative to say are either sour grapes, ignorant or numb. When you have someone like Michelle who has the kind of universality to be admired, you have to be looking hard to find something to justify why you don't like her.

All fo the presidents wives wore designer clothes. What does that have to do with Michelle Obama. This country is certainly in a different phase at this date and time. Michelle doesn't need anything other than her self to shine. She is one of the most intelligent an beautiful women in the world. The Obama's have completely transformed the way government is looked at in this country. They have engaged the public (especially the youth) like no presidential family before them. Jackie wore clothes, but Jackie didn't change the face, manner and mood of government in this country. That alone belongs to the Obama family. When they made history. They made history. Jack Kennedy was a great president, but his administration was marred by his many affairs, the most publicized with Marilyn Monroe. Michelle Obama is married to a man that obviously loves her, Jackie could not claim that and everyone knew it. Therefore Camelot did not exist until now. Period.

Terrible camera angle! She's got a triangle shape as it is. There's no reason to shoot her from this angle and accentuate it! I'm sure it looked better on her than this picture shows.

As a photographer, I have to say you're right. But imagine the difficulty of getting a good shot when you are confined to the space the photog was in. This wasn't a posed shot where he/she had a choice. Sometimes you get the shot you can get, given the limitations imposed. But consider this: the fact that the First Lady doesn't look like a starved model in need of a big sandwich gives young girls a more realistic view of what a healthy woman looks like.

GREAT PICTURES OF THE PRESIDENT AND HIS DAUGHTERS AND BO!!!!! They are what gets him through all the mess he faces everyday. The love of his family. With the love of a good woman and kids, a good man can do anything. Think about the names he is called, dealing with all the nuts up there on Capital Hill, then think about coming home beening greeted by your girls who think Daddy can do no wrong. LOVE!!! This President will do just fine. Oh yea his wife looks nice in that black dress. I think our Prez had a good evening, night.
