ALBANY, N.Y. (AP/ 1010 WINS) -- Several bills intended to protect the disabled from discrimination and abuse were among the 18 that New York Gov. David Paterson vetoed Thursday.
The bills would have cost taxpayers $28 million in the next two years, Paterson said, including unfunded mandates on local governments.
