LOS ANGELES — A publicist for Kristin Chenoweth says paramedics checked out the actress after her Emmy win, but that she's doing fine.

Meghan Prophet says Chenoweth felt a migraine coming on after winning an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series and doing press interviews. Prophet says Chenoweth laid down and onsite paramedics checked on the former "Pushing Daisies" actress.

Prophet says Chenoweth is feeling better and may take part in some of the post-Emmy activities.

The 41-year-old actress was emotional during her acceptance speech and in press interviews. "Pushing Daisies" has been canceled, but Chenoweth told reporters she has been busy, filming movies and guest starring on an upcoming episode of Fox's show "Glee."

Heard a radio interview with her, and she described suffering from Ménière's disease, occasionally with head-splitting pain, yet she has frequently gone onstage during bouts. Quite a trooper.

I think she's great too - her appearance in West Wing was superb. She's a lovely lady.

I like her a lot, I like her when I've seen her on Broadway and I really loved her on Pushing Daisies. I thought her win was well deserved and I'm not sure why people are making so much of her crying. People react differently, she was happy. People cry at awards shows all the time, I don't see the big deal.

She is so tiny and using the Emmy's to broadcast to the world that she needs a job (when she actually has projects underway) - huh? Yes, talented, but that is dwarfed by the display.

She certainly is more talented than most, but that baby voice is a bit irritating. I am sorry that she suffered a migraine though on her award winning night. I can't imagine the pressure leading up the the award being announced.

A tad too much melodrama, though I understand how painful migraines can be. Anything short of opioid treatment is pretty much useless.

Perhaps she took something for it before going on stage. As a migraine sufferer,I have several options before heading to the doctor for a demoral shot, some of the drugs can make you a bit foggy.

She had a complete meltdown on stage. Did her migraine start then or later? If later, then what's the excuse for her ridiculous behavior on stage? Maybe she was overcome being so close to the gorgeous Jon Hamm!

She couldn't complete a single sentence and just kept bawling like a child with her face all screwed up. Somehow, I don't find that cute at all, unless the person is less than 5 years old.

Migraines are extremely painful with nausea as well. They can can make you very loopy even without taking the meds. If you haven't had one don't judge. Sometimes its all I can do to feed the dogs. Driving a car to work would be suicidal and homicidal. If she was managing to not vomit on people she was doing well.
The triptran drug can disorient you until some time after they kick in. After a certain poin you can't domuch more than find a very dark, very quiet room and wait for relief.

Did anyone else notice how unnatural most of the women looked? Way to much botox and plastic surgery. These women do not look normal. Maybe Kristen Chenoweth should have eaten before she came. I know she is tiny but she looked emaciated. She wasn't the only one who was thin. Television adds 10-15 lbs so in person so I have to wonder how they looked in person. This is not real life. No wonder young girls have body image issues in this country.

Right on Sharon!! I thought the exact same thing. Those women are starving themselves. I couldn't not believe when Kristen C. stood up how skinny she was. I mean she's tiny, but goodness, she's skin and bones! Maybe the fact that she was just simply STARVING had something to with her illness. I'm thinking that "migrane" issue was an excuse. And Toni Colette looked positively skeletal. I almost didn't recognize her. No doubt about it, Vanessa Williams has destroyed her beauty with Botox. She looks a mess. I don't know if they realize this, but botox injections to the forehead are just horrible. It deforms their face. Nicole Kidman, ruined her looks just this way. When the camera zoomed in on the many faces, they were so unattractive and so unhealthy....Hollyweird is crazy. How long will these women last?

The migraine wasn't an 'excuse' for anything. She has been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease, an inner ear condition that results in frequent vertigo, dizziness, and loss of hearing, and she has struggled with it for quite some time. It isn't pretty, and the migraine was likely a byproduct of the Meniere's.

The fact that she is a tiny, thin woman doesn't automatically equal starving herself. assume, much?
