There's at least two, maybe 3, generations left that can milk the name.
Her "feeling" isn't a scoop. He stated that flat out on Keith Olbermann's program last week.
Does anyone really care, or would they if he didn't have the "magical" last name?
I watched the full 60 Minutes interview. Leslie left out one very important aspect of Ted's answer to the question of if he will get into politics someday. After the part about perhaps sometime in the future, he added that, if he did he would want to do it based on the issues he felt strongly about and not be his father's surrogate.
That speaks to the quality of this man ~ self assured without being arrogant; devoted to his father but also wanting to be himself; and comfortable waiting for the right time so that he can be seen as distinct from his father.
I hope he does run ~ he has a lot to offer, not as a Kennedy but as a man who can put his intelligence, dedication and powers of persuasion to use for the people he serves.
The guy has the "IT" factor. I'll vote for him!
Please Teddy, don't bother. They just want to tear you apart and gobble you up. Hopefully, you are too busy to hear the likes of WRKO is Boston and the insults, just for fun, they throw at all of you. You have a lovely family and are making a difference now.
Leslie Stahl is well seasoned but having been involved in an interview with her, was grossly disappointed in the presentation given on her segment about same. Lots of fluff!
Boy, that Leslie is a real gambler. Odds are, you could have picked any male member of the Kennedy family and made the same prediction.
I hope he does....he is an eloquent speaker, apparently quite intelligent land knows how his father would want his agenda carried out...
I like this young man. Seems to be an intelligent and empathetic young person. Hope he runs.
Nope, I disagree. His family is his world and he wouldn't risk it; putting them into the climate of politics or as history shows, perhaps his own life. He'll stay put, but the littler Teddy, he'll be one to watch...
This guy was one of the most impressive speakers at his dads funeral. He has that "it" factor that you need to be a leader.

I would love to see it. I wonder why he BOUGHT JFK's house versus rent it or lease it or whatever, it IS in the family....
It's in Teddy's will that his house will be turned into a museum.
