Carly Fiorina Launches "Worst Political Website Ever"

Hey kids! Look who got a website! Carly Fiorina, that's who! And she wants to be a U.S. Senator from "Carlyfornia" because Barbara Boxer has become an evil, nocturnal cat, or something?

Anyway, this is the "still under construction" website of Fiorina's gubernatorial Senatorial (duh, sorry) campaign. There's scant mention of much beyond extending to the world the awesome opportunity to receive email or text updates on her daily "plans and activities." What goes unmentioned are career highlights that include her love of offshoring jobs ("There is no job that is America's God-given right any more", said Fiorina, in a clarion call well-suited for these economic times), her obfuscatory promotion of Ireland's corporate tax rates, her comments on Senator John McCain's business acumen that got her disappeared by the McCain campaign and her brave criticism of Saturday Night Live and Tina Fey -- a show that McCain routinely goes on and a comedienne with whom he willingly appeared.

Even with all of that, "Carlyfornia" is really the most insufferable thing she's ever done in her life.

So there you have it. I'll tell you what, though! I think the Fiorina campaign hasn't just been doing work on their website. A year ago, there was a whole dedicated section on Wikipedia that detailed the then-Hewlett Packard CEO's disastrous decision to merge with Compaq. NOT ANYMORE!

It's nice to see how easily the left-wing gets worked up over an election that is a year away, and well they should! You may want to check out recent events in Virginia and New Jersey (of all places) and buckle your seat belts. That "shiver up my leg" feeling for Obama is offically over and an increasing number of independants are starting to realize that socialism isn't quite what they had in mind when they voted last year. You may also want to offer Barbara Boxer a push as her Prius has stalled on the tracks and there is a big red, white and blue freight train coming.

Did you check out the results of NY23? She was an advisor to McCain but said he couldn't run the country. Carly has a lot of skeletons to overcome before she beat Barbara Boxer. Keep Dreaming. Obama still has good approval ratings. Repubs have, at most, 20% of the country willing to say they are Repubs.

Left wing getting worked up? You've got it backwards, bud. Fiorina and Whitman have started such huge expensive campaigns at such an early date that it is unprecedented. Those two have too much money on their hands...guess those wads of cash prevented them both from doing their civic duty and punching their ballots. Fiorina says she didn't feel that her vote could make a difference....but how about those hundreds of thousands that she and her hubby threw at political campaigns? Guess she believes that money is the answer to getting what you want politically.

The problem with Carly is that she seems to be full of herself. She comes off as truly being a megalomaniac, who is excessively preoccupied with her own importance.

I saw those snippets in which she said that McCain does not have the experience needed to run a major company and Palin does not have the experience needed to run a major company.

That was quite a turn-off.

Do we really want Carly to "manage" California like she managed HP?

I disagree the website is the "worst political website ever". It's actually a very nice website. It looks good. Unfortunately for the unknowing, everything Carly looks good. Carly is a marketing person and that's where it ends.

She's not an ops person. She's not a nuts and bolts person, and she fails in the details. And she fails in the big picture and she fails in the ethics category.

But hey...having an unethical leader in the GOP would be like...well, having another unethical leader in the GOP. What's new there? And yes...I work for HP and remember the people literally singing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" the day it was announce she had been ousted. Yes, it actually happened at HP!!!
