Michelle Malkin: "I'm A Human Being" With Feelings, Stretch Marks

Michelle Malkin

The Daily Beast:

"I'm a human being," Malkin says from her home in tranquil Colorado Springs (tranquil, except for the shrieking of Air Force jets--"the sound of freedom," Malkin says), far, far away from the media-political complex. "I mean, every once in a while it might get under my skin. But I can't stop ad hominem attacks against me."
...
"It was ridiculous," says Malkin, a mother of two. "I'm open with my kids about my job and what I do. They've seen the photo-shop of me in the bikini. I told them: This is what I'd look like if I didn't have stretch marks.' "

She has feelings? For what? Humans have empathy, otherwise you are a sociopath.

When you sow hate, you reap hate. Michelle seems to be damaged by hate; you can see it in her face every time she goes on the television. It can't be pleasant to live a life filled with darkness.

I can see the stretch marks around her mouth. But, I have problems believing the human part.

Malkin is just a right wing critic, a pastiche of right wing and conservative and "Christian" values. Her idea is to find faults in the everyday theatre of politics She does not do academic research, or deep philosophical thinking, or even create original political philosophy. She exists as a gadfly on the right. Big deal!

However, her quote above about being human does reminded me of Mary Shelley's, Frankenstein (The Modern Prometheus). The Frankenstein monster was "created" in a lab from scavenged body parts and it was unleashed on humanity. The monster states: "You are my creator, but I am your master—obey!"

Michelle Maglalang ought to be thankful for every Liberal Congressman in America that made it possible for her Filipino parents to legally immigrate to America. If it weren't for Liberals and people like Sen. Kennedy, Malkin would be writing columns for newspapers in Manila

She is absolutely repugnant.

How are her Filipino immigrant parents any different from Mexicans who come to America looking for opportunity?

Why are her kids entitled to health care coverage but not other people's kids?

How is what her mom told her about race profound? It is totally unsatisfactory and unprofound. If I were a kid hearing that I would not feel comforted. It is not even memorable. I think she made up this maternal response that helped shape her racial feelings.
