AFP:

An Indonesian woman has given birth to an 8.7-kilogramme (19.2-pound) baby boy, the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country, a doctor said Wednesday.

The baby, who is still unnamed and is 62 centimetres (24.4 inches) long, was born by caesarean section Monday at a public hospital in North Sumatra province, a gynaecologist who took part in the operation told AFP.

I like both babies, the little one and the big one. The big one reminds me of a sumo wrestler, but like if the sumo wrestler was a baby.

It wont be healthy. That baby will probably have many problems. Its mother was diabetic and I'm sure the baby came out with high glucose levels too.

If the mother had gestational diabetes, the mother and baby should be fine. In 1972, I gave birth to a 10.5 lb. baby boy, who was 24 inches long. I did have gestational diabetes. My son, Noah, never had any complications, and my diabetes was gone after giving birth.

If you read the story, you would see that the birth was by cesarian section. Your comment is truly offensive.

WOW!!!
This is unbelievable and insane! I can not even imagine in how much pain the mother must have been.
It is amazing how the new born baby and his mother survived.
