What can the French teach us about curing hangovers? They teach us that the poor, neglected artichoke very well may be THE secret solution to the hangover blues. For the past several years the French have used both artichoke and artichoke supplements to mitigate the harmful effects of hangovers. Specifically, artichoke is purported to have “liver renewing” effects on the body. Although there is no significant scientific research that can confirm the healing power of artichokes, it couldn't hurt to serve spinach and artichoke dip at your next party.
