You've got to hand it to him. Governor Paterson is a feisty guy who is rapidly achieving heroic stature at the expense of the bungling bloviator and his meddling Chicago hacks. The one to watch now is Jesse Jackson Sr. and Jr. Any taking of sides or a move away from the Obama orbit, especially by JJJr., could be signs of a serious break in the black base of the party.

Complete rot. We in New York have decided against Governor Paterson, and for good reason. If Emanuel is involved at all, it is only because he knows we will not elect David Paterson.

Paterson will probably lose in the primary. So why didn't the white house let it be? Why did they see it fit to meddle well before it needs to and then leak it to the press? Whta is so honorable about that?
