Republicans Dominate Twitter, Accounts Double The Dems'

Nearly twice as many Republicans as Democrats have accounts on the social networking platform Twitter (101 compared with 57), and the GOP dominates Twitter usage by an even wider margin, according to a report released this week by the Congressional Research Service that analyzed two weeklong periods in July and August. During those spans, congressional Republicans posted 932 messages -- or tweets -- compared with 255 for Democrats, CRS analysts found.

Twitter is perfect for people that can't keep their smushed peas down unless they eat it with melba toast. All that quality time with the porcelian and twitter is the perfect way to while away the hours. Oh i forgot larry craigs hours on public toilets -- even more time to twitter!

GOPers think that President Obama won the election just because he tweeted. So, naturally they're trying to copy his efforts to gain the same result. But Republicans are always a step behind. Dems, however, have moved on the bigger better things. With the increasing amount of money-making s.chemes drenching Twitter, I can't blame them.
