Krugman Pans Sarah Palin's Hong Kong Speech On Maddow: Absence Of Facts Didn't Seem To Matter In Palin's Speech (VIDEO)

Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman was a guest on "The Rachel Maddow Show" last night to discuss Sarah Palin's speech to a global group of investors in Hong Kong. When Maddow informed him that the speech lasted an hour and half, not including the Q & A period, Krugman's horror was written on his face as he quipped, "That's half a Castro."

Palin's speech blamed too much regulation as one of the origins of the financial crisis -- a theory that Krugman ably picked apart, noting the "absence of any facts" to back up Palin's claim.

Sarah is the new Manchurian candidate. Maybe they programmed Sarah into a "sleeper mole." If she is elected, she'll order our missles pointed at the US and push the button. She'll be flying to Shang Hai on Air Force One praising God for letting her be the one to usher in the end times.

Don't you get it? Don't you know what happened?. Just like Sarah sold out the people of AK for a book deal. She was busy arranging a deal to sell the United States out if she ran and ever got elected. She was probably arranging under the table political campaign financing to run. If you think outsourcin­g is bad now wait until her backroom deal with them kicks in. I sure will miss my coffee when we're drinking tea under Chinese occupation­.

Krugman vs. Palin. Who would be the more credible speaker to present to internatio­nal money managers? But who had Murdoch behind her being there? Good for Krugman for calling a spade a spade. Palin stank. She's "a mile wide and an inch deep."

AHhh The War DESTROYED CAPITAL and CAUSED INFLATION!

This guy thinks you can print prosperity too, it shows they give nobels to people who the government likes what they say. Freddie and Fannie have been horrible for the housing crisis, if these institutio­ns where not there the people who are now defaulting on homes couldn't because they would have never had them. I am not defending Palin btw..I am just against this guy.
