If he cant manage his weight, how can he manage a state?
I think Christies weight is offensive personally.

MediaCurves.com conducted a study among 300 New Jersey residents on the recent anti Chris Christie ad that states Christie is “throwing his weight around.” The results showed that the majority of all political parties do not believe the “weight” reference in the ad was intended to reference Christie’s actual weight. Additionally, the majority of Democrats (59%) and Independents (62%) do not believe the reference to “weight” was inappropriate, while Republicans were split, with 44% of Republicans indicating that the reference was inappropriate and an equal amount (44%) reporting that it was appropriate.
More in depth results can be seen at:

Few liberals really think. Come on "throwing his weight around". Is that not an innuendo regarding is weight? Let's see.. He could have said "using his power" "abusing his office" "having connections" etc... instead of "throwing his weight around" Come on libs... THINK AND BE HONEST. Well at least Think the honesty is just too much for you I know. Rome wasn't conquered in a Day.

He is not calling Christie fat. This is the Christie campaign way of drawing attention to itself. He know he has a loosing campaign. I mean he is using the national association of republican governors, who is headed by South Carolina Gov. Marc" the love gov" Sanford good grief can you get anymore tacky. To blame Corzine for the high unemployment is false. Just about every state is going through high unemployment. I am gathering 8 years of Bush economic strategy did not happened. Stop the crying you are a big boy. Get over it and run on your merit. Not on the fact that you are husky.

Corzine doesn't have to run a commercial to highlight Christie is fat. All you have to do is look at Christies commercials to figure that out.

I wouldn't say the ad was referring to his obesity, more about his use or abuse of his office. Is this going to go on for another 13 months? Sheesh........

interesting how we can all criticize a fat man (who does indeed look like the michelin man), but GOD FORBID if we say the same about a fat woman...i mean 'real' woman with 'real' curves...PUH-LEASE!

Do you people actually pay attention to these ads? HIS WEIGHT ISN'T MENTIONED AT ALL....
The ad states (paraphrasing) "... threw his weight..." meaning he INTERVENED AS DISTRICT ATTORNEY not because he is obese. That being said, as a NJ resident, I'm torn between voting for this GW Bush creep, and our current governor creep!

The two men have very different political views. You should vote on issues not on who makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

Christie's obesity is one of his better qualities.

Another innocent post blocked by, as Churchill said, "our uncivil masters".

When will HP get its act together and employ quality people for this job?

madtom, a little tip from KK: use the _underscore before a controversial word.

_Hannity is an _asshole.

See, it works.

It io fair to speculate that Chris Christie may have a problem with the "flying munchies".

He is a hypocrite, on so many levels.

These misleading headlines are so annoying. They are unnecessary.

Reply    Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:31 AM on 09/27/2009

Is there a little "projection" here of the "fat" issue? This is a misleading and very stupid way to gin up something someone's little mind imagined.

After reading the headline, I thought Corzine must be crazy to attack Christie's weight in an ad. After watching the ad here, which I had seen several times before, the headline had me thinking I must be at Fox News website.

Come on. This ad factually recounts Christie's past. It has nothing to do with him being heavier than he should be for his height and weight. And if I agreed with Christie on his plans for New Jersey, I would vote for him no matter how much he weighed.

Christie really needs to work on his weight. It's unhealthy and speaks of a certain lack of control. I know it's hard but if you want to be a state leader you need to be on point and in good health. It's very unappealing, imo.

Give me a break. This ad is not offensive, mediocre, yes. I would understand if the ad said Christie is so fat he might not be alive long enough to complete a term as Governor. Although, he's an example of why we should tax high fructose corn syrup and junk foods. How can his wife have him on top of her? Maybe he just pushes his belly to the side to get his lovin' on. lol
