With "Saturday Night Live" premiering its 35th season this weekend, we're counting down some of their funniest moments, including their best digital shorts, and most fabulous presidential impressions. But the true highlight of "SNL" has always been its fake commercials, which have offered everything from edible floorwax to edible energy drinks. Unfortunately, three of our favorites (Nikey Turkey, Compulsion by Calvin Klein, and Steve Martin's All-Natural Penis Beauty Cream) are not available online, but the rest are here!

i loved an obscure commercial: Levi's 3-legged jeans
it was made SO professional looking and extremely clever

I had forgotten about the 3-legged jeans! A leg-and-a-leg-and-a-leg. I also agree with others that leaving out Homicil and Liberty Mutual insurance were huge oversights.

Does anyone remember the toy for kids commercial "bag of glass". It was Dan Ackaroyd (sp?) selling a bag of glass shards for kids. Also, clear gravy. And some air freshenor for the car. You spray it on the engine and the exhaust smells like flowers.

Does anybody besides me remember a Lincoln car commercial parody (from very early on) where a rabbi performs a circumcision in the back seat? It was a send-up of an actual commercial of a diamond cutter doing his thing, "proving" the car's smooth ride.
