The Obamas' Many Double Dates: With Which First Couple Do They Have The Most Chemistry? (PHOTOS, POLL)

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama co-hosted a reception for Heads of State and Government at the Metropolitan Museum on September 23rd. But judging by the 135 photos uploaded on the State Department Flickr stream, it almost looked like speed-dating with each Head of State and their spouse.

Here are the most fascinating photos. Tell us which couples the Obamas should go on a double date with, and with whom there seemed to be no chemistry.

I know looks shouldn't matter -- but I can't help being proud of our beautiful First Lady and handsome President.

My favorites among these photos are the ones where the visiting first ladies are smiling and happy.

If there's one thing that really is amazing about President Obama is that he has truly crossed the color line. To the most intimate family level he has always been a man who lives in a COLOR FREE WORLD. But of course, one could selectively find photos of him in a Blacks only setting and make it seem as if "he's really only one of them." That's why in court you are asked to tell the truth, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing but the truth. So let's emphaisze how COSMOPOLITAN-- totally disolving the color line-- is Obama in both personal and official life. WE had enough of people calling him "THE BLACKS' PRESIENT" or the President of "NON-WHITE AMERICA." All the teabaggers' posters make clear that there's an effort underfoot to say just that. So why make it look like THIS is the company he chooses. On the contrary, race is NO ISSUE rather than AN ISSUE in both his official and personal life. His official an personal associations are of one "race" or another by coincidence not by design for he never makes an issue of race in choosing hias relations. Obama is a man of many colors, thus the president of the great American RAINBOW, all colors blending into eachother in a seamless contineum. He is President of US ALL, equally, unlike his predecessors for whom race was a tool to manipulate politically.

Your fashion taste is horrid. Mrs. Obama looks great in mustard color. This is also one of the few times she looks elegant.
Mrs. Biya - for a 39 yr old woman, looks like she is 65 yrs old in that makeup and unnatural bouffant Marie Antionetter hair style of the 16th century, only that Marie's wig was better coifed.

I hope the heads of states and their wives take these pictures home and ask now what's wrong with this picture????!!!!!! If they can figure that out, then maybe they can also fix their countries. I thought many of the wives would have tried to look so much better especially since they knew they would be in Michelle's "large" presence and the comparisons would be so obvious. At least the couples from Somalia and Qatar look normal. When I saw the pic with the Cameroon couple I thought the Obama's were standing at Madam Tussaud's with wax figures!!!!! OMG, the Solomon Island wife really need a makeover badly - check out the hair, shoes & socks. They have really let the third world down, indeed!!! Michelle did not help these pictures either. What is she wearing - gold color dress (the design is awful) with those long slightly bowed brown legs and towering over everyone - Ughhhh!!!!! Her shoes look okay. Why didn't the shorties just sit down for their pictures. Fire the photographer, PR people and White House publicists.

They really need to destroy most of these pictures, reconvene the meeting, bring them all back so they can take these horrible pictures again.

The pictures selected for this piece were exotic or strange, depending on your perception. I'd like to think the Obama's simply enjoyed looking at all the unusual "comstumes"/attire of some of these countries, many of which I had never heard of before. The Obamas are very poised people. I noticed their nice smiles, I do believe they were "speed dialing" their way through all these people. I'm sure some of the attire/appearances did amuse them. They are, after all, only human!

While I am not a strong Obama Supporter; I do feel these are worldy people, who pride themselves on good manners and tolerance . DIVERSITY is very important to this couple. They are an attractive pair, and Michelle looked very lovely at this reception. I don't always like her fashion choices -- but this dress is very appropriate and attractive. It was fun looking at all these different people, from parts unknown.

Of all of the dresses that i have seen Michelle Obama wear, this one is the best. The cut of it looks fantastic on her.

I agree with you that these A-line, knee-lenght cuts really flatter her! This is my second best dress I like on her. The best is the black, upper-sheer, feather dress she wore at the Black Caucus, and another excellent outfit was a red, raw silk like suit she wore to the United Nations.
