Having ramped up her metabolism from magazines to online journalism with The Daily Beast, Tina Brown now wants to speed up book publishing.

Tina Brown faker than a $2 bill. Huffington really takes care of their friends.

I love the idea of quick turnaround ebooks. While they probably won't be able to analyze the issues as well as a book written later, it will establish a starting for debate. Right now, the right wing press gets first say and therefore gets to frame the debate. And how many great expose's have been buried in multi-day stories in newspapers.

A post on books and it received no attention. Why am I not surprised.

I think the yawn factor has more to do with Tina Brown than with the subject of books.
