The most interesting thing to me in all this, is they're going to talk, and talk and talk about why they were imprisoned, how they were treated..all of it...

Not gonna be pretty folks!

like this....

In a third case, the full federal appeals court in New York is reconsidering an earlier decision by three of its members to toss out a lawsuit by a man who was changing planes in the United States when he was mistaken for a terrorist and sent to Syria, where he claims he was tortured.

It's a good start for a very difficult and complex situation created by an administration that knew they would just leave it for someone else to deal with. They did the same thing with 2 w a r s and a recession. They just left it all behind without blinking an eye.

But those set for release still have to wait for a country (other than one that might torture them) to accept them. What a disaster this Bush policy was.

I would like to be sent to Palau.

What crime do I have to be accused of and not tried on to realize my dream?

Wow.
This should send Beck, Limbaugh, and O'Reilly over the edge.

Given the massive numbers of fires left burning by the Bush administration, I am pleased that Obama's policies are moving along at at least a decent pace.

i wonder how many of the men held in cuba are really guilty of anything serious enough to be held so long in such terrible conditons with so little protection under the law.....and i wonder if they are not really learning to seriouly hate america while they suffer under our great "American Injustice System"....
08:33 PM on 09/28/2009
Probably all of them. Even if Gitmo was like the best hotel (and it is not), it is still imprisonment.

Not only them, but their familes and friends, who network outward and create more h8 for America. That is the true legacy of Bush/Cheney...they sowed the seeds of h8, and we the people have to live through the harvest.

I've always thought it ironic that most of us liberals (not all) live in the Northeast, DC, and west coast, the places most coveted by terrorists. Yet it's conservatives in agriculture states who seem most frightened about terrorism. I don't want to make light of a serious subject, but I doubt international terrorists care too much about corn and hogs. Their target will be the financial and political districts. I guess I just feel that living life in constant fear is not a life worth living. What happened in NYC, DC and that PA field was horrific, but when we change our way of life because of their actions...they've already won. We should've used our resources and gotten bin Laden, but never should've invaded Iraq.

I doubt if anyone changed their lives at all.
