Sarah Palin's Top Ten Tips For Writing A Book (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin's memoir "Going Rogue" is due out on November 17, and while you'll have to wait til then to see just how crazy it is, David Letterman gave us a taste of what's to come last night with a top ten list of Palin's writing tips. (It starts 1:20 into the clip.)

As long as he keeps harping on Palin ordinary people (not the averge person on Huffpo) will think one of two things.

1) The guy's just bitter that he had to apologize and can't get over it.

2) The guy's a bully who's run out of material so he's just going to carp on one person the rest of his days.

letterman is one of the last sophisticated intelligent entertainer. he has a lot of depth and will be missed when he's gone.

The decline of America continues; when a know- nothing, read -nothing like Palin can get a book full of delusions that she didn't actually write herself onto the market in 4 mos, be worried. Many very talented writers struggle for years to get their work published, and money motivates too many publishing houses more that actual talent.

I heard an old saying a couple of days ago that fits Ms. Plain precisely. "You only have one chance to make a first impression."

Her first impression to the vast majority of Americans and the world was that she was a light weight in a heavy weight suit.

Think what you will about Dave but he captured the womans permanent public persona in ten simple sentences. If you're a true believer, which I suspect, it isn't easy watching I'm sure.

To be clear, Sarah Palin didn't actually write the book. The actual writing was done by an anonymous, unscrupulous ghost writer, who was likely paid far less than minimum wage (and who deserved far less). According to Palin's publisher, "Governor Palin has been unbelievably conscientious and hands-on at every stage." Hands on a typewriter? I didn't think so.

Excerpt from the book: "But the best thing of all about being chosen as Mr. McCrain's Vice Presidentress was the shoes. Oh, the SHOES!"

Palin contributed the "and's" the "it's" and most of the "the's". Oh, and all of the "you betcha's".
