They needed a survey to tell them this? Don't the people who invented this survey ever visit any web sites?

I don't necessarily object to tracking with the intent to deliver targeted ads, but rather to the content of 95% of the ads I do see. If Google, et. al., know so much about me, why do they insist on bombarding me with ad after ad for "don't pay for White Teeth" and "Bumfark, MS, Mom loses 47 lbs following One Rule!"? Is there anything else out there that I might actually be interested in? Oh, I'm 46, so surely my johnson doesn't work anymore and not only do I need v1@gr@, but I apparently didn't get the 352,323,462 spam emails, neither did I notice the seizure-inducing flashing banner ads for same.

What is this, 1998?

Oh, and I just love being interrupted in the middle of reading an article on something totally unrelated with an ad scrolling across my browser urging me to sign up with SomeUselessService.com. Every time my mouse inadvertently rolls over a stationary ad taking up the entire right-side of the browser so I can't possibly not mouse over it.

And then certain sites whine (cough)DailyKos(cough) when I install Ad Block Plus.
