To make matters far worse, consider what the US government has actually done to fix the underlying problems? Nothing

good articles; http://iamned.blogspot.com

The government has put the same punch bowl out that got us into the mess in the first place. More debt and consumption and don't worry about paying it back. (Berbnanke= Greenspan II)

I have seen so many of these "successful" children run perfectly good businesses into the ground.

After they're done spending all of daddy and the VC's money, they still don't know how to actually do or make anything.

Next!

I am a "lib" and I think their success is great. I am proud of young, hard-working, dedicated people who make it in this world. I am also proud of Americans who work hard for a wage--doing the best they can. We tend to forget about wage-earners who are the "spokes on the wheels" so to speak. I am proud of all who do the best they can in this world. It is the do-nothings, the ranters, ravers, the greedy, the uncaring that are the problem. If an individual puts forth his best effort in his life, whether he is wealthy or poor, he is to be commended.

Actually, most such kids are far more likely to be liberal than conservative -- from Bill Gates to the Google duo.
