Anyway, if she didn't come across so snotty in interviews, acting as if her family was somehow better than others, I wouldn't even bother with this story. But, as it stands, all I can say is: uh oh uh oh uh oh, no no no!! Lookey here!
I don't think Beyonce has ever presented herself as being "uppity" in any of her interviews. She has always come across as a genuine, kind person. In terms of the hair, no looks can ever usurp how talented a person is and more importantly, it's what's inside that counts. We all are way more than how we look...and certainly Beyonce is more than her hair because of her talent. It's your prerogative to call her "average" but millions of people will disagree with you. I believe the comment about her upbringing may have been taken out of context. You can't believe everything you read.

I really don't want to laugh at this...but have to give in and say it is "funny." I noticed that her mother was not at the Awards show as she usually is. Sometimes in life people separate after many years of being together because the grass always looks greener on the other side. It''s not any of my business anyway, and that green grass eventually dries up and looks ugly after a while, turns into a weed and wasn't worth leaving home for.

Her grandmother, on her mom side, is white. She actually appears darker than her natural skin tone because she bronzes/tans or whatever to make herself DARKER. Was this huge scandal about whether or not her skin was photo shopped to be lighter in an Ad campaign. But, if you see her with no make up and natural, she's much lighter than most people realize. Alicia Keys does the same thing.

Loreal in its European ads lightened Beyonce's skin and the just finished paying out a discrimination suit because it would not hire people of color for the cosmetic counters personnel and advertised to imply native born white. Notice I said to imply not that it was said directly but their hiring practices showed their pattern.
