Colorado Loses $115 Million Out Of Transportation Budget Due To Congressional Technicality

Colorado highway officials woke up Thursday with $114.7 million less in federal dollars to spend.
Across the nation, state highway officials had $8.7 billion less in federal dollars to spend Thursday, because Congress did not act by midnight Wednesday to eliminate a provision in a six-year national highway funding bill that orders a "rescission" of the money.
