My son and I have discussed this many times. He and his partner do not want to raise children, but they do want other benefits of marriage. Amazing how much we take for granted in our adult hetero marriages; so much so we don't even realize what a gay couple has to go through, or how much they have to do without. This isn't about church & God, it's about money and the rights to the same advantages for all.
