Walmart Banned

blogs.static.mentalfloss.com:

Retail giant Wal-Mart is the world's largest public company, and whether or not you're a fan of shopping at the House that Sam Walton Built, you've got to admit that the store stocks just about everything. But not quite, though. There are a number of things that Wal-Mart has banned from its stores at some point. Let's take a look at a few of them.

Walmart should be investigated for anti-trust compliance.

The reasoning for anti-trust investigation is because Wal-Mart gets into it's vendor's businesses to "help" the vendors review accounting, production efficiencies, logistics, and areas for cost savings. Wal-Mart then requests cost downs on products or demands that the vendor provides such a low acquisition cost that the vendor is forced to offshore manufacturing from the United States. This gives Wal-Mart an unfair advantage over other US based retailers which is shown by how many regional retailers have gone out of business in the last 20 years...

Anti-trust for Walmart now.

Teddy Roosevelt, where are you?

If I'm not mistaken, Wal Mart according to "Capitalism a Love Story" also takes out insurance policies on it's employees naming the company the beneficiary. The insurance policy is known as a "peasant" policy.
I do my very best to never shop at Wal Mart.

I heard from an employee that Wal Mart has started to have to deal with Counterfeit currency as their policy of passing it on is an issue since the quality of the Counterfeit bills has gotten so bad that they can not continue to pass it on.

Yeah, because the Hawaiian cops could NEVER be fooled by a fake "McLovin" driver's license. If anyone of them did, they should be fired and deported from the islands for life. I'm surprised the Superbad people didn't sue Hawaii and/or Wal-mart. That's a MAJOR loss of revenue.

Wal Mart is in the hands of the successor generation to a real american entrepreneur Sam Walton. They have turned his american ingenuity into a nightmare for american consumers and workers. I am not surprised, the heirs consider themselves above the fray, after all they didn't earn the money initially, nor did they work for it. But somehow the repugs consider these privileged few more valuable than the masses.

I buy American-made products there all the time. I only buy American made products there, unless I am unaware of an American company that makes the product. And they typically sell those products for less.
