On the heels of LIVESTRONG Day 2009,held on October 2, comedian Drew Carey has publicly pledged via Twitter to raise his donation to Lance Armstrong's foundation to $100,000 -- that is, if he gets 100,000 followers by November 9. Carey's current followers number 13,000 at the moment.

Approximately 28 million people live with cancer around the globe, and the Lance Armstrong foundation was created in order to provide these inspiring individuals with resources and support, as well as fund research, raise awareness and fight the stigma that many survivors face.
UPDATE: On Shira Lazar's CBS vlog, Drew Carey announced that if he receives one million followers by the end of 2009, he'll donate $1 million to LIVESTRONG. To clarify, the offer is to donate one dollar for every follower received by the end of 2009, up to $1 million. Watch the announcement below:
