This story should be given bigger promenence on HuffPo, as, just for once, it's showing a more moderate Muslim 'face' to the world. Or does that not suit the agenda?

About time. The niqab has never been part of Egyptian culture, and, as the Islamic scholars well know, it has no support in the Qur'an. It is simply a cultural artefact, not a religious prescription.
