Thank you Secretary Gates--but what took you so long? General McChrystal's very public and very out of the chain of command bleating for more troops was an atrocity. The General keeps close company with the neocon crowd and he's doing their bidding instead of doing his job.

The neocons will stop at nothing for more war, bigger wars and war all the time. They love it-as long as they and their loved ones don't serve.

What good is a chain of command if you can't tell your subordinates what to NOT do?
