Kate Gosselin Has Unpaid Bills, Angry Kids (VIDEO)

Kate Gosselin is left with stacks of bills she can't pay, now that her estranged husband has drained the family bank account, she told the Today show Monday morning.

"I need that money to provide for them," she said. "We were in the position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills. We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never did I think I'd be back in the same position."

Jon, meanwhile, made another stop on his self-promotional tour Saturday, a paid appearance at Millions of Milkshakes in LA.

A teary-eyed Kate also said that her eight kids were all "wailing and sobbing" when they heard the TLC crew would not be returning to film, something Jon ordered last week after he was fired, claiming he had their interests in mind.

"They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry," Kate said.

Im so glad that Jon is standing up 2 Kate it's about time that women is mean & it's about time she get a does of her own stinky poop, as 4 the kids they need 2 be left alone and just be kids enough is enough. Kate can always go back 2 wk just like we all do if she even knows what that is, she used 2 be a nurse she can go bk 2 nursing it's $ it's an income 4 her kids she and Jon made that choice 2 have all 8 of them just do what you have 2 do DIVORCE move on and just take care of them kids.

OH I FEEL TERRIBLE FOR KATE!!! The first time she is really crying and it over money-what a shock!!!! Yes I need $100,000 to feed my kids too...what a joke. She works for alot of money. HELLO people! Attorneys give bad advice, my ex too was told to empty our account and leave $100....big difference. But thats what divorces are. she demands so much free stuff and is manipulating the public into feeling sorry for her. PLEASE KATE if you are really only living for ur kids, sell the mansion and buy a large, nice family home elsewhere. Live for ur kids, not all ur freebies. Including she still charges $20 a signing at churches...where people are broke!!!

Kids should never be on TV, and they certainly should never be "used" to support their parents. Have we learned nothing from Michael Jackson, River Phoenix and a host of other famous kids who parents rode the wave of their fame and cuteness. These kids grow up to be damaged, and so often, it seems, abused. Let''s let kids be kids, and parents get off their backsides and make a living like the rest of us do. Jon and Kate, you both need to check yourselves....

Kate is such a liar. She has book money from 3 books and another soon to drop. She has accounts she can liquidate if necessary out of the 11 accounts. Also, when they do divorce he WILL get a substantial amount of money. She will have to liquidate all accounts (except maybe children's accounts) as he is entitled to 50% of the marital funds. They will deduct whatever amount he took out of the account and also deduct from her share whatever amount she spent on herself (including haircuts, etc.) separate from household bills. Just went through divorce so I know how they handle the money issue. He is also entitled to whatever she earned on all her books and the future earnings on all her books as they were written, etc during the marriage. As she was the person who MADE him quit his job to take care of the kids so she could go all over US promoting her books, etc. she will probably have to pay alimony as well. So, keep crying, Kate. Cry us a river. Don't care about you, your ridiculous haircut, your body makeovers, your bodyguard, etc. I only care about the kids and the lies you tell them about their father. I KNOW you are bad-mouthing him because you did it in front of the whole world and it is taped.

I cannot understand why so many posters are getting so emotional with their posts about these 2, especially regarding this story. All banks require signatures, keep records, have paper trails 10 feet long when it comes to account activity. Whomever took the money will be outed by that same paper trail...it would seem prudent to save your judgments and oh-so-passionate posts until that time.
