Fox Finally Finds Fall Hits, Up 7% In Viewers

Fox's prime time is off to one of its best starts ever. It is poised to win the second week of the TV season in adults 18-49, and not only are some of its established shows showing strong staying power, new shows "Glee" and "The Cleveland Show" are keepers.

This season, Fox is up 7% in viewers, averaging 7.5 million viewers and 11% in adults 18-49 with a 3.1 rating (each rating point in that demographic equals 1.3 million people).

I'm going to very annoyed if Dollhouse suffers the usual Friday Night Fox Fate.

It seemed to do all right last year with Sarah Conner Chronicles as a lead in.

They should pair DH with Fringe. Bones and House worked well together when they were on the same night.

(still hoping to see Stephen Fry's Dr. Wyatt Gordon from Bones psychoanalysing Hugh Laurie's House)

They should have brought back Mental and paired it with Lie To Me.

They could lead in to Glee with Brothers and use the other night for their reality "bleep".

As much as I disdain Fox, I do watch Bones, Lie to Me and Glee! My only comfort is I don't have to pay for the broadcast because I do not pay for TV. Cable TV has some great programs on it and some crap programs and I don't want to pay for it.. Between the internet, netflix and regular broadcast which includes PBS I have enough to entertain and inform me.

I am a fan of their classics - House, Bones, and Fringe. 3 of the best series on the Tube.

I blocked FOX from my channel line-up so I manually tune in for GLEE (the most gay-positive show on network TV from ultra-con FOX, go figure). It's a great show that has nothing to do with FOX at-large.
