The marketing folks at Pepsi could never have dreamed this up. Priceless!

Maybe that's why it tastes like crap.

I wonder how much the fact that Coke is out of Georgia and Pepsi is out of New York has anything to do with this boycott? Did those 500,000 signatures come from coke employees? Is this just another salvo from the Confederates against anything from the north? If they want to make soda a political issue they better be prepared for the rest of America to boycott Coke.

There's a great commercial just begging to be made-

Scene: A social setting. Music playing in background. A bunch of happy 20 somethings, socializing with gusto, doing their carefree Pepsi swilling thing......suddenly, the music stops and everyone turns toward the camera. Camera swivels to reveal an approaching tea-bagger type, carrying a misspelled sign of some nonsense. The obviously agitated tea-bagger/fundie demands ( in a voice sounding like someone with severe social hang-ups....a Republican, for instance) ...'ARE YOU GAY? The couples (mixed of course) look/speak to one another, gathering together as a group, and turn back to the camera and say, "YES WE ARE!!!"

Hold Pepsi cans high, Music resumes, group starts laughing, and resume fun filled recreating.

Oh, silly reactionaries. You do realize that reacting negatively to Family Guy just makes it more powerful, right? You haven't learned your lesson from Marilyn Manson or South Park? They WANT controversy. They love controversy. And I love Family Guy, so by all means, keep up the hysterics!

Well, well, well. It seems that the American Taliban are at work once again.

Put down your Pepsi, put on a Burka, ask your Taliban Christian Right Wing Nut Case what your next thought is supposed to be. Wouldn't want to come up with an idea or thought on your own now.

I'm just saying...

ROFLMBO!!! Ahhhhh yes.... "and now 500,000 Pepsi-holics have signed a petition to drink onlyyyy COCA-COLA!!!" And the Conservatives' point is??? Anyone can obtain signatures but it will take a heck of a lot more than THAT to change their drinking habits. It would be interes-
ting to see how many Pepsi drinkers actually switch their preferences. Remember the biggy
boycott by the Baptists against Disney?? Disney business doubled (I worked there at the
time!!!) Remember the biggy boycott against Ford by the American Family Association, led
by wild man WilDEMON?? Ford came out of the economic downturn/depression as the ONLY...
ONLY automobile manufaturer who DIDN'T have to kiss government butt to save its skin! Thank
you, Don WilDEMON!!!
I think the conservatives had better concentrate on subjects they know about, rather than skinnydip in the various pools of knowledge they know nothing about!

I was with you until you suggested that conservatives concentrate on subjects they know about. What subjects would those be?

Neither Coke or Pepsi arenot particularly good for them so perhaps they will have a lower rate of diabetes without it. I don't understand why they care whether or not gay people get married. Many of these folks do have gay children. (some are gay themselves-right!) Do they think they made their kids gay? Jesus wanted more love and committment not less.

Amen, they probably should not be drinking these sweet drinks in the first place. So they should thank gay rights for making them healthier.
